63. Future In Their Hands – 24″ x 36″ (Available)
Represented online at Gallea Gallery

68- 20 x 20 You may think this is an usual painting and it is! It was an experiment I fell in love with. The dark colour on this painting is intentional. I did not want true black, I wanted a richer hue. I can say for sure what the proportion of each colour is but it has a few yellow shades, orange, ultramarine, grey and of course some black. The end effect is a deep forest green! The center was created by applying some colour to strips of wax paper and rub them on the center in many steps.

67 – 20″ x 20″ This acrylic painting is all about the brightness tulips bring to your home. To get this striking effect, I painted the whole painting in black and white first. I then put a light focus on the right and added the needed shadows on the flower pot and background. To catch a brilliant black effect, I used pouring liquid to emphasis all the contours. The last step was to colour the tulips and my choice was this bright yellow you see at times in gardens.

Size: 24″ x 30″ – While looking for more challenges to painting, I went back to the acrylic with collage model. I started this painting with a marigold yellow over the whole canvas. I painted the ultramarine for the effect of a transparent colour. It let the yellow break through and mix to very light green. I applied some collage of napkins and top it up with some stencils marks to finish.

Size: 24″ x 30″- I was looking at a new way to make painting! So, here is an acrylic painting with collage. It makes it so much fuller and colourful! I started by covering the background in green and purple acrylic paint, brave or what? With using pieces of napkins, I glued them all over. On top, I used stencils to make those large leaves. There it is, a garden of colours!

Size: 36″ x 24″ x 1 1/2 This painting was a long time in making. It is obliviously “a message in a painting”. The idea is that the older peoples represented by the three men and the mother will be passing the current earth ecology problem to the next generation. I used lot of glazing medium to make the faces come into the picture as they should to pass on the message.

Size: 36″x36″ – This painting was done with glazing fluid added to the paint from the beginning to the end. Many coats of colour with glazing were added on coat by coat and created the deep effect like watercolour glazing would do. It is a bright painting reflecting the many layers of different colours. Fun to try!

Size – 11 in x 14 in – With a new set of little tubes of acrylic paint, I experimented to use as many colours as possible to create a flower arrangement. The flowers are not definite in a specific botanical name but the multicolor effect blends them all as being tightly assembled to the grandeur of a palace arrangement.
